KUALA LUMPUR – Kumpulan Pro-Aspirasi meneruskan penguasaan pilihan raya kampus sesi 2012/2013 dengan memenangi dua pertiga pusat pengajian tinggi awam.

Barisan kepimpinan kumpulan proaspirasi yang memenangi 34 daripada 36 kerusi yang dipertandingkan meraikan kemenangan mereka bersama Naib Canselor UUM, Datuk Dr. Mohamed Mustaffa Ishak (barisan belakang, tengah) di universiti tersebut di Sintok, Kedah, semalam.


Pada pilihan raya kampus yang diadakan secara berperingkat dan selesai malam tadi, Pro-Aspirasi dipercayai menang di 17 universiti.

Pro-Mahasiswa pula mengekalkan kemenangan mereka di Universiti Malaya dan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Dalam pada itu, Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM) pula menggantung keputusan pengundian malam tadi ekoran masalah teknikal dalam sistem e-undi. Pengundian semula, menggunakan sistem kertas, dijangka diadakan minggu depan.

Di Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)pengisytiharan rasmi calon yang berjaya pada pemilihan ini hanya akan diumumkan 1 Oktober depan.

Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Induk Pemilihan MPP 2012, Prof Datuk Dr Mohd Fauzi Ramlan berkata, keputusan akan diumumkan selepas proses bantahan dan rayuan selesai.

“Bantahan akan dijalankan esok (hari ini)dan keputusan bantahan pada 27 September, kemudian rayuan terhadap keputusan pula pada 28 September dan Keputusan rayuan pada 30 September.

“Jadi, keputusan rasmi akan diumumkan 1 Oktober ini,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan malam tadi.

Sebanyak 80.37 peratus pelajar keluar mengundi di Serdang dan 90 peratus di Kampus Bintulu, Sarawak, daripada 25,006 pelajar.

Usaha mendapatkan komen jurucakap Pro-Aspirasi dan Pro-Mahasiswa masih belum berhasil. Bagaimanapun difahamkan kumpulan Pro-Mahasiswa akan mengadakan sidang media di ibu negara hari ini.

Berdasarkan maklumat diperoleh dari seluruh negara, Pro-Aspirasi menang di Universiti Tun Hussein Malaysi, Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Universiti Teknologi Mara, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin dan Universiti Teknikal Malaysia. Pusat pengajian tinggi ini dimenangi Pro-Aspirasi setakat Khamis lalu.

Semalam, ia meneruskan penguasaan di Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Universiti Malaysia Terenganu, Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia, UPM dan Universiti Sains Malaysia serta Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Pengurusan tiga universiti sebelum ini mengumumkan bahawa tidak ada kumpulan Pro-Aspirasi dan Pro-Mahasiswa di kampus masing-masing, antaranya Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin dan Universiti Malaysia Terengganu serta Universiti Teknikal Malaysia,

Sekiranya ketiga-tiga universiti berkenaan dikategorian tidak memihak mana-mana kumpulan, kumpulan Pro-Aspirasi dilihat menguasai sehingga 14 pusat pengajian tinggi awam.

Kumpulan Pro-Mahasiswa mengekalkan pengaruh di Universiti Malaya dan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia yang akan mengadakan pemilihan semula dilihat menarik untuk diikuti.
